HWF plays a vital role in addressing a critical healthcare issue in the North Indian States – the availability of safe blood and blood products for transfusion. One of their notable initiatives is the organization and execution of Blood Donation Camps at various locations and medical centers across the region. These camps, held in collaboration with renowned hospitals and the medical fraternity, are instrumental not only in increasing the blood supply but also in raising global awareness about the crucial need for safe blood.

Blood is a life-saving resource, and ensuring a steady supply of safe and healthy blood is a significant challenge in many parts of the world, including the North Indian States. HWF recognizes this issue and has taken proactive steps to bridge the gap between the demand and supply of blood.

Through their frequent Blood Donation Camps, HWF provides a platform for individuals from all walks of life to come forward and voluntarily donate blood. These events are meticulously organized and often attract a substantial turnout of volunteers willing to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

HWF has also taken on the noble task of raising global awareness about the necessity of safe blood and blood products. This educational outreach is instrumental in dispelling myths and misconceptions surrounding blood donation and encouraging more people to become regular donors.

Human Welfare Foundation’s commitment to improving public health in the Delhi region and various parts of North Indian states is exemplified through its vaccination programs, which are conducted in collaboration with Al Shifa Multispecialty Hospital. These programs are a proactive and essential part of our mission to provide healthcare to those who are often marginalized or underserved.

Through our Medical Mobile Van and established Medical Centers in different regions, we facilitate these vaccination programs with the goal of benefiting disadvantaged populations.

Vaccination is one of the most effective public health interventions. By offering a range of vaccines, we contribute to the prevention of various infectious diseases that can have severe consequences for individuals and communities.

We are also collaborating with Government Health Departments to implement this program.

HWF also extends its financial support to poor and needy patients who are struggling to afford their healthcare expenses. This aspect of their work is equally significant as it aims to improve the quality of life and overall well-being of individuals facing health challenges.

In a region where access to quality healthcare can be limited for many due to economic constraints, HWF’s financial assistance is a lifeline for those in need. The support they provide is not limited to a particular medical condition but encompasses a broad spectrum of healthcare needs. This includes assisting poor patients in obtaining essential medical devices like artificial arms and cochlear implants, which can significantly enhance their quality of life.

HWF’s commitment to extending their support to a diverse range of healthcare needs underscores their dedication to improving the overall health and well-being of the underprivileged.

Human Welfare Foundation currently operates in six campuses spread across five states: Delhi, Haryana, West Bengal, Assam, and Jharkhand. Our vision is to see these campuses evolve into vibrant hubs of education and training, with a clear focus on addressing the educational and developmental needs of underprivileged segments of society who have long been deprived of affordable and quality services.

Through these campuses, we aim to create a transformative educational ecosystem that goes beyond traditional classroom learning. We aspire to provide comprehensive support and services that extend beyond textbooks and lectures, catering to the holistic well-being of the communities we serve.

In our pursuit of this vision, we are committed to offering affordable and high-quality education to those who may not have had access to such opportunities in the past. This includes not only academic education but also practical skills training, career guidance, and personal development programs. We understand that these services are essential for empowering individuals and communities to break the cycle of poverty and realize their full potential.

Access to education is a cornerstone of social progress and human development. It’s not merely a basic human right, but also a crucial instrument for addressing multifaceted global issues, such as child labor and poverty.

We firmly believe in the transformative power of education. We recognize that, all too often, children drop out of the educational system due to various circumstances, depriving them of opportunities for personal growth and development. Consequently, these children often find themselves trapped in the cycle of child labor, perpetuating the vicious cycle of poverty.

To break this cycle, we implement a multi-faceted approach. First and foremost, we endeavor to bring dropout children back into the educational fold. By doing so, we provide them with a chance to acquire the knowledge and skills they need to escape the clutches of child labor and improve their future prospects.

We also invest in the physical infrastructure needed to support education. This includes constructing schools and developing educational facilities that meet modern standards, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment. We understand that the quality of the learning environment has a significant impact on a child’s ability to succeed in their studies.

Currently, Human Welfare Foundation operates seven schools in different states, touching the lives of countless children and communities. These schools are not just centers of learning; they are beacons of hope, representing our unwavering commitment to combating child labor and alleviating poverty through education.

There is a large number of schools in the country without even basic infrastructures. Our School Capacity Building Project aims at rehabilitating such schools by adopting or providing them with the necessary funds to develop their basic minimum infrastructure.

In 2021, 16 schools across the country were assisted- 32 classrooms, 1 hostel building, furniture (for 3 schools), 1 computer centre, 1 principal room, 1 staff room, 18 toilets.
