Human Welfare Foundation celebrated the Republic Day with the students of Community Learning Centre in Kanchan Kunj in Delhi. More than 70 children gathered for the program and participated for Naat, Nazam, patriotic songs and a quiz competitions. The chief guest Salimullah Khan, Sr. Education Manager interacted with the children and shared inspirational story with them.
Community Learning Centres-CLC is one of our promising projects. CLCs are set up in slums or slum-like places having 2-3 classrooms with adequate facilities. CLCs aim at imparting basic education to the out of school children in order to make them ready for formal education and providing coaching for dropout and school going children. After providing basic literacy and education, children are enrolled in nearby schools. These centres also provide vocational training to women and adults.

Annual Day celebrations didn’t happen in 2020 and 2021 due covid induced restrictions. However, In the final examinations in 2021, the school achieved 100% results. The school has been affiliated to CBSE and State Education Board as well.
Arifali T, Vice Chairman, Human Welfare Foundation, inaugurated the much awaited Annual Day. In his speech, he expressed immense pleasure that within a short span of four years the school has achieved CBSE and State Board affiliation. The Human Welfare Foundation’s activities are spread across India, with a particular emphasis on the North and North Eastern states. Initially, for four to five years, HWF began by providing financial assistance through donations to educational institutions, liberators, and other infrastructure projects, he said.
Gradually, HWF moved on to managing various campuses in Bihar, Assam, and Jharkhand. Mr. T. Arif Ali explained the operational procedure, saying that HWF (Vision 2026) raised funds from prospective donors to complete projects like schools.
Remembering Vision 2016 project, he said that it was the dream of the late founding member, Prof. K.A. Mr. Siddique Hasan to establish a school in Assam. After discussions and deliberations with from Dr. Ahmed and Mr. Soopy, the school building was inaugurated in 2012.
Further, the Vice Chairman noted that this school is striving to provide quality education to BTAD students and has excelled in making the vision of HWF a reality. With affordable fees, Vision 2026, is committed to providing academic excellence, value-added education, and educational upliftment for underprivileged communities.

Arifali and Dr. Ahmed jointly felicitated two students for their special achievements. Manash Jyoti Bora, a Grade V student the school won Gold Medal in the All Assam Wushu Championship held in November 2022 and Rohan Sinha, a Grade XI student for won Gold Medal in Boxing Championship and represented India in the Netherlands MMA Championship-2021.
As part of its educational empowerment program, Human Welfare Foundation completed three school capacity building projects in the Mewat region in Haryana. The project was accomplished in collaboration with APTIV.
There is a large number of schools in the country without even basic infrastructures. Our School Capacity Building Project aims at rehabilitating such schools by adopting or providing them with the necessary funds to develop their basic minimum infrastructure. As part of this project, HWF supported the following schools in the educationally backward Mewat region. One of the three schools supported is a Government Senior Secondary School.

The projects were inaugurated by Abdul Jabbar Siddiqui, Trustee, Human Welfare Foundation in the presence of CEO PK Noufal and other local community leaders and dignitaries.
A new Vocational Training Center, under the aegis of Human Welfare Foundation inaugurated at Jamiatul Falah, Bilariyagunj in Amzamgarh, UP by Maulana Tahir Madni, Director Jamiatul Falah in the presence of PK Noufal, CEO, HWF and Mohammed Arif, HoD, Healthcare, HWF and other dignitaries.
The Center will run courses on Nursing in collaboration with Al Falah Hospital. After successful completion of the course, Students will be provided with placement assistance. Other paramedical courses will also run at the Center soon.
The Orphan Care Department of Human Welfare Foundation organized scholarship distribution program at Basmat in Maharashtra.
Mazhar Farooqui delivered motivational lecture and interacted with the studdents on higher education opportunities. 34 orphan students received their half-yearly scholarships.
Miss Gulnaz Ansari an aspiring young girl of 21 years from New Delhi has done her schooling from Jamia Millia Islamia and currently pursuing her B.A through distance mode from JMI University.
She has seven members in her family including her parents, two sisters and three brothers. All her brothers are earning doing odd jobs.
While her parents assured her that she would have their support, regardless of what future endeavor she choses, she decided to pursue college and a career in health care.
“It was really important to me to be able to help people every day. I saw a career in nursing as a way to give equal weight to both.” – Gulnaz
She came to know about Innovation and Skill Training Center ISTC through an NGO and decided to pursue Assistant Nursing Midwifery Certificate course.
After successful completion of her course from the April 2021 batch, she worked as an intern in Sanjivini Hospital for three months.
Today, Gulnaz continues her clinical practice while serving as a Nurse at the Royal Kalindi Hospital earning herself Rs.10000/- per month.
“Looking back on my career, there were many challenges I overcame. I really love science,” she said.
And now with her job she is willing to do B.Sc from Jamia University.
“My student peer group was instrumental in helping me navigate new social norms when I first started the ANM course. Gulnaz said “Working with a faculty mentor, both formally and informally, helped me develop my career goals and identify opportunities for professional success.”

New Delhi: Have you ever wondered why all philanthropic activities start from the South and why North India remains behind? If Al-Shifa Hospital has to be built in Delhi, Prof KA Siddique Hassan Sb had to come from Kerala, said Dr SY Quraishi, Former Chief Election Commissioner.
Speaking on the occasion of Prof K A Siddique Hassan Memorial PG Scholarship Distribution Function organized by Human Welfare Foundation, at India Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi, Dr Quraishi said that the most worrying fact is that today Muslims aren’t following the teachings of Islam. Islam’s first commandment was to read, but they are far away from education.
Dr SY Quraishi was the Chief Guest on the occasion in which two major projects of Human Welfare Foundation under the aegis of Vision 2026 were announced.
“Despite discrimination, if you are good at what you do, you will get opportunity and only quality education will bring that change. The practice of fictitious degrees in northern India is destroying generations. I am pleased that the Human Welfare Foundation has taken practical steps for quality education, which are proving fruitful,” Dr Quraishi added.
Dr. Siraj Hussain, IAS (Retd) Chairman, Human Welfare Foundation, in his presidential address said that education as a sector has taken a hit in the last couple of years.
Quoting the Annual Status of Education Report, he said that the enrolment in private schools has gone down due to financial crisis. This happened after many decades. Offline classes are yet to start in prominent universities. Quality of education is going to be big challenge in the coming times.
“In my interaction with the students receiving the scholarship today, I observed that the students are all committed towards their academics,” Dr Siraj Hussain said.
He wished the students willing to pursue civil services and journalism to show true dedication, which can only bring success. He also reminisced his association with Prof K A Siddique Hassan Sb and said that the scholarships and the newly announced projects are a glowing tribute to the great personality.
H Abdul Raqib, Trustee, Human Welfare Foundation, and Chairman, Indian Centre for Islamic Finance (ICIF) addressing the gathering said that he had the opportunity to work with Prof K A Siddique Hassan for five decades in different capacities.
“Prof. Siddique Hassan was an admirer of talents, and took them along and always paved way for them to serve the society,” H Abdul Raqeeb said.
“Under the Vision 2026, he envisioned and established many NGOs. Professor Siddique Hassan’s dream was to explore the potential and immense opportunities in the community and make it beneficial for the upliftment of the marginalized sections,” He added.

A new award has been constituted for the NGOs and Social Engineers. The Best NGO and Best Social Engineer Award’ will be given to an NGO and an individual, selected by the Jury, who are doing well in social and humanitarian sector with a cash award of Rs. 500,000 and Rs. 100,000 respectively.
Announcing the projects, he said, “Fifteen years ago today, under the leadership of Prof. Siddique Hassan, a whole team was formed and we have come a long way learning many things. The biggest achievement of Prof. Siddique Hassan was shifting the focus of South Indian Muslims towards the North and diverting the resources. He always said that only through changing the North, India can change.”
Another important project which was announced today is an Academic Publication on the topic – Pragmatics of Community Empowerment in India: Contributions of Prof. K.A. Siddique Hassan. A national seminar will be organized in which researchers and academicians will present papers on various aspects of Prof K A Siddique Hassan’s interventions. The proposed publication will be an asset for the coming generations to understand and be guided by his life experiences and interventions. Twenty eight students pursuing various PG courses received the Prof. KA Siddique Hassan Memorial PG Scholarship. Human Welfare Foundation has launched the ‘Professor KA Siddique Hassan’ Memorial PG Scholarship to strengthen its educational activities and further expand the scholarship program. This scholarship will be given every year to the talented PG students in Humanities at national level.
On this occasion, the CEO of Human Welfare Foundation, PK Noufal presented the performance report of the foundation.

Human Welfare Foundation’s Malda Campus inaugurated in Malda, West Bengal. The 12-acre campus located at Shantinagar in Narayanpur is proposed to have many promising educational and vocational training institutes including an English medium school, degree college, residential coaching centre for competitive exams, vocational training centre, hostels for boys and girls, and medical centre. This is Human Welfare Foundation’s second campus in West Bengal after Howrah Campus.
The Campus was inaugurated by Arifali T, Vice Chairment, Human Welfare Foundation. In his inaugural talk, Arifali mentioned that the Campus will impart value-based education to all sections of society in the region.
