Human Welfare Foundation Distributes Scholarships to Over 100 Students in Delhi

Marking the launch of its scholarship distribution for the 2024-25 academic year, the Human Welfare Foundation awarded over 100 scholarships to meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in the Delhi region. This year’s recipients included 85 orphaned students and 25 undergraduate and postgraduate students, who were recognized for their academic achievements and potential.

The event was graced by Prof. Sara Begum, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Jamia Millia Islamia, as the chief guest. In her motivational speech, she encouraged students to pursue lifelong learning, emphasizing the importance of continuous personal and intellectual growth beyond formal education. Dr. Nisha Nupur, District Nodal Officer for Child Health, Child Labour, and NVBDCP, Government of NCT of Delhi, and Shri Charan Singh, Social Welfare Superintendent, also attended as guests of honor.

T. Arifali, Chairman of Vision 2026 and Vice Chairman of the Human Welfare Foundation, presided over the event, with P.K. Noufal, CEO of the Human Welfare Foundation, and Mohammed Arif, Senior Manager, also in attendance. The event began with a welcome address by Zahoor Ahmed and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shariq Ahmed.

Since its inception, the Human Welfare Foundation has empowered over 8,650 students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds through undergraduate, postgraduate, and specialized scholarships. Additionally, HWF annually provides scholarships to more than 2,200 orphaned students, affirming its dedication to uplifting young minds.

This event highlights the foundation’s commitment to nurturing moral integrity, spiritual growth, and sincere character among students, inspiring them to overcome financial challenges and pursue their dreams with resilience. The program celebrates the achievements of HWF scholarship recipients and supports their journey toward a brighter future.
