The Raftaar Scholarship Program at Human Welfare Foundation aims to address the essential needs of children requiring care and protection. Since 2009, we have been striving to holistically improve the quality of life of children who have lost their father or both parents.

In 2025, the Human Welfare Foundation awarded 1,504 Raftaar Scholarships, bringing the total number distributed so far to over 7,000. These scholarships have reached students across multiple states, with a stronger focus on northern India. While we recognize that there is still a long way to go, we remain committed to expanding our impact despite limited resources and are encouraged by the positive outcomes achieved so far. With growing partnerships, we aim to reach an even greater number of children in need.
